Donations
All donations and transactions made through this website are processed in Australian Dollars (AUD).
Donations may be made as one-off gifts, recurring donations, bequests, or gifts in kind. Warrah Society reserves the right to determine how donated funds are applied across its services and programs. Where a donor expresses a preference for a particular project, program, or purpose, Warrah Society will make reasonable efforts to honour that preference but is under no obligation to do so. If the nominated project or program is no longer available or suitable, Warrah Society may redirect the donation to an area of greatest need.
Official tax-deductible receipts will be issued for eligible donations of $2.00 or more in accordance with Australian taxation requirements. Donors making one-off gifts will receive a receipt for each donation. Recurring donors will receive receipts according to the donation schedule selected.
Anonymous donations are accepted; however, Warrah Society cannot issue a tax-deductible receipt where donor details are not provided.
Donations made through this website are processed using secure payment systems. While reasonable security measures are in place, Warrah Society cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted over the internet and accepts no liability for any loss arising from such transmission.
Donations are generally non-refundable. Requests for refunds due to an error in processing may be considered at the discretion of Warrah Society and should be directed to warrah@warrah.org.au as soon as possible after the transaction occurs. Please refer to our Refund Policy https://warrah.org.au/refund-policy/
Gifts in Kind
To obtain a Gift in Kind receipt, donors must provide documentation demonstrating the value of the donated goods or services. This should be submitted to donations@warrah.org.au and may include a supplier invoice, tax invoice, or other suitable proof of value.
In accordance with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) requirements, Warrah Society is not authorised to determine the value of donated goods or services, nor provide taxation advice. Donors should seek independent professional advice regarding the tax treatment of their donation.
For further information regarding gift valuation and tax deductibility, please visit the Australian Taxation Office website or consult a qualified tax adviser.
