Warrah Spring Picnic

Saturday 13 September, 11am – 2pm
Warrah Specialist School grounds, 20 Harris Road Dural.

Come and enjoy the Warrah Spring Picnic festivities and spend a fun afternoon at our beautiful bush campus. There will be entertainment, food and drink, kids activities, market stalls, a raffle, and a campus tour. Plenty to keep you and your family entertained on a spring day.

Market Stalls

There will be several market stalls including: 

Cheeky Charlie Keep Cards, Oshala Earthforms, Rudolf Steiner Book Centre, Be Nurtured Tallow, plants & succulents, cakes (lovingly prepared by Tangara School students), Warrah’s Organic Farm Shop, Warrah’s Micro-Enterprises, Warrah Specialist School, bird houses & key rings (lovingly made by Barker College students), Little Felt Rainbow, hand-made products & jewellery, ceramic homewares, naturally dyed garments and much more.

Activities

There will be a range of fun activities for the children and young at heart including;

Face painting, woodworking, Flower crown making, playground fun & making seed bombs.

Food and Drink Stalls

There will be a variety of food stalls including:

Rotary Club of Greater Hills sausage sizzle, focaccia from Warrah’s artisan bakery, Waaia Cafe’s scones & biscuits, freshly brewed coffee and sweets from The Hills Daily Grind, Mary’s Turkish Gozleme, Bite Me Mini Donuts, Acai Avenue and more.

Entertainment

We will have live entertainment running throughout the day.

11:30 am – Lorien Novalis musical performance
11:45 am – OneMaker Academy Advanced Jazz Band 
12:00 pm – Warrah Specialist School performance
12:15 pm – Bunch of Keys Choir
12:30 pm – Mike Van Biljon – a local musician
12:50 pm – North Ryde RSL Pipe Band
1:10 pm – Australian Dance & Cultural Association (Chinese dance) 
1:30 pm – Announcement of Raffle Prize Winners
1:45 pm – Campus tour and Official Opening of the Chicken Coup (proudly built by our maintenance team and the Year 9 Barker Students)
