MAKE AN IMMEDIATE DIFFERENCE AT WARRAH BEFORE JUNE 30

Warrah’s beautiful bushland setting, gardens, pathways and open spaces are central to the wellbeing, independence and sense of belonging experienced by the people we support every day. Yet these vital community spaces receive no government funding and rely entirely on the generosity of donors to maintain and improve them as infrastructure continues to age. Your support will help ensure Warrah remains a safe, welcoming and connected place for generations to come.

Warrah has been John Paul’s home for almost 50 years.

He first came to Warrah Specialist School in 1976 as a young student, living in the original Waratah House during the week before returning home to his family on weekends. After finishing school, John Paul moved into one of our Supported Independent Living homes and joined our social and community programs, where he still enjoys spending time with friends, getting involved in activities, and being part of everyday life at Warrah.

For John Paul, and for so many people in our community, Warrah is much more than a service provider. It’s home.

It’s a place where people feel safe, connected and valued. A place where friendships grow, confidence builds, and opportunities are created. The gardens, pathways, buildings and shared spaces across our campus all play a part in making that possible.

What makes Warrah so special

Our bushland setting, gardens, pathways, and open spaces provide calm, freedom, and connection to nature. These spaces support wellbeing, encourage independence, and create opportunities for learning, recreation, and community connection.

Across our farm, gardens, homes, and shared spaces, people can experience moments of joy, purpose, and belonging.

But maintaining these spaces comes at a significant cost, and they receive no government funding.

While government funding helps cover essential services and programs, it does not support the ongoing maintenance and improvement of our grounds, buildings, and community spaces. As infrastructure ages, caring for these areas relies heavily on the generosity of donors and supporters.

Your support before June 30 will make an immediate difference.

Your tax-deductible donation before EOFY will help us continue maintaining and improving the spaces that mean so much to the people who call Warrah home.
