Make Room for More Children Who Need Warrah

Right now, there are families waiting, families who know that Warrah is where their child will finally be seen, understood, and supported to grow. But we simply don’t have the space to welcome them yet.

Warrah Specialist School currently educates 35 students, each with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities and complex needs. With your help, we can make room for 14 more children who need Warrah.

We have an incredible opportunity to grow our school by converting the Kaltenbach building into two beautiful new classrooms, each for seven students, maintaining our high ratio of care: one teacher, two teaching assistants, and a dedicated full-time volunteer. This high ratio ensures every child is known, understood, and supported through a tailored learning and therapeutic program.

Set within our peaceful bushland campus, students benefit from the calm and focus that nature provides. Morning bushwalks are an integral part of our program, helping students to self-regulate emotions, build confidence, and begin their day with joy.

Discover why Warrah is so much more than education, hear from our community and see our approach in action.

The difference Warrah makes is best expressed by our families

“When Jared arrived at Warrah he was anxious and fearful, often hiding under tables. Today he is a very happy boy, calm and engaged. He feels safe, he explores, he plays, and when Jared is happy, we are happy. Warrah has made our dream for him come true.”

– Jared’s Mum

“Jonathan had not eaten or drunk at school for five years. Within ten days at Warrah, he was dining with his peers. For the first time in a very long time, I did not carry the weight of worry. Instead, I carry gratitude, relief, and awe for what happens when love, respect, and humanity are daily practice.”

– Jonathan’s Mum

“If someone offered me ten million dollars or the chance for Saffy to attend Warrah, I would choose Warrah a hundred times over.”

— Sapphire’s Mum

We need to raise $450,000 to create these two new classrooms.

Your gift, no matter the size, will help us open the door for 14 more children to experience the education, care, and belonging they deserve.

Together we can make room, not just in our classrooms, but in our community for children who need Warrah. Your gift will allow families to finally be able to breathe deeply, knowing their children are safe, loved, cared for, and flourishing.
