For over 50 years Warrah has proudly embraced diversity within our community, fostering an environment where differences are celebrated so that everyone feels respected, connected, and empowered to contribute to our collective success. This year, 2023 marked a pivotal moment in our Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) journey, with Warrah joining the Diversity Council of Australia (DCA). This reaffirms our commitment and dedication to ensuring every voice is heard, every perspective valued, and every person can thrive.
Our membership provides access to contemporary best practice approaches and resources for creating an even more inclusive and equitable workplace, and all staff can take part in online training, webinars, workshops, and events. We were excited to deliver our first Diversity and Inclusion 101 workshop to over 80 staff during our face-to-face training day in April 2023, and we look forward to introducing more initiatives in the future.
